I love playing games on my phone. I used to sit at my computer before I got my smartphone just so I could play them. Now, I can take my games with me where ever I go, which means I play them a whole lot more now. One of my favorite games to play is Hay Day. It is a fairly new game, but I have become totally immersed in it. I like playing games like this because it takes my mind off the daily struggles of life, especially when I found a hay day hack tool.
I normally like a challenge of a game, but there are some days when I am just too impatient.
I went by the place today and helped out as Zach was installing the intelligent home system he designed for my new place. The house looks like it is done from the outside, but on the inside there is basically nothing. It is going to be both a house and a place of work for me. The house itself is going to be two and a half stories tall with over six thousand square feet total, but the basement will be completely unfinished aside from the recording studio beneath the garage. The garage is included in the square footage too, so the house is not nearly so big as it sounds from the square footage. This is a pretty big garage with more than enough room for two cars and all of the yard care stuff as well. Above it is is my pool room, although I probably should have thought more about how I am going to get that big billiards table up there.
Of course all of the kids will get their own room, rather easily in fact. They took their roller skates with them and spent the entire time skating down in the basement while I was helping out Zach. He has the house wired out completely with a pair of gigabit networks. His design is pretty complicated and involves using these little gadgets to keep the cable company from gouging me with their DVR rental things. The only problem is that you will not be able to pay for pay per view movies on the system, but that is not so terrible really. You can do that on Amazon Prime I think and probably on a couple of other services. The computer network is already running on the wireless internet, Zach was out in the yard testing it when we got there.
Yesterday I was experiencing a weird issue. My SFDC API Test Failed. For a new requirement we did development in our DEV environment…We wrote new test methods and we thought the work is done :)…
However, there were Null Pointer Exceptionswhen we ran the test methods.
And it was pointing to the custom settings….we doubled checked and confirmed that the custom setting had the default values. Also, it was accessible to anyone (public). After some time I realized that the test method API version was 24.0.. I changed it to 23.0 and there were no errors 🙂
Edit – SFDC has introduced test classes not to access data directly with API 24. Even though it is a good move , I would like to access certain info by default like custom settings, and Pricebook. But there is always an option to use @istest(seealldata=true) to access live data.
Found this awesome IDE and data loader on the cloud !!! – Workbench . I would have loved to have metadata export on this. If anyone knows a tool not an app through which we can export metadata (not like an XML) more like a spreadsheet which can be used for documentation and data mapping please drop a comment here.
Finally Vote for all the ideas in this link. These are all the features worth having in SFDC.
There are many a times where we need to mimic a standard page through VF. Creating them to mimic it is a hard thing. But it can be done with a single click , whole code gets generated.
You can check that out here. Pretty cool stuff aint it for SFDC Admins SFDC Developers.
In this era of Information Technology, the efficient storing, managing and retrieving of data related to core Business functions and making it available for regular business operations across various departments to take important business decisions is what that determines the competencies and successes of the organisations these days. For smooth business operations, providing data on demand is very vital and for this every day end to end business information from all Business units needs to be pooled into one place and this data should be made accessible by important members of the organisation. This has made organisations to spend huge amount of money in Information Technology, especially in data centers.
The high performance operations of Data centers is determined by the quality of Servers used and this is why leading IT majors have a big IT budget for Servers and at the same time Small and Medium sized companies have their ways of getting the best Data Center possible at a minimum expenditure and it is with the help of refurbished servers and to play it safe they go for reliable high quality and branded refurbished IBM servers.
Here are few reasons why Organizations can go for Refurbished Servers :
By going for refurbished servers that are quality enough and are at par with new servers when made available at a lesser price than new servers, helps organisations to save a significant margin in their IT expenditure.
In parallel to saving money, buying refurbished servers makes it possible to buy more servers at the same IT budget, there by offering a means to have additional storage devices for better data back up.
In this consistently changing IT environment, Refurbished Servers can support legacy applications and programs and this gives a enough time for Organisations to continue their business till latest and advanced technologies are implemented.
Refurbished servers can be used in Research and Development, especially in product development and testing environments, where using new systems will be risky and very expensive.
Refurbished Servers can be implemented as a part of green support and reuse initiatives of Organisations.
When I got the flier in the mail from my local power company telling me that I no longer had to use them for the power to my house, I knew that I had to make a choice as to whether or not so that I would be able to look at the different options I had for my power company. My husband and I decided that we would just go with the company that had the least amount in charges per watt and that I would be okay with the fact that there was no difference for any of our service at all. We were just able to pick a new provider, purely based on cost and I was alright with that I was thinking that it would be a good idea if we were able to look at the contracts to see if there was a minimum amount of time that we had to sign with them but that was not the case.
I was so happy that we did not have to sign a contract to get service from the cheapest provider. My husband and I both have very well paying jobs in Dallas but we were not used to the fact that we only had one option for power. We came from other parts of the country and we were not used to only having one option for things like cable and power. Back in California we had many options for who we wanted to provide us with our power and our cable. I was never more grateful then when we were able to choose more than one of our utilities. I felt like everything was bigger in this great state, and it was true, even our options for power and cable.
